working with suicide and Suicidal Ideation  

This online CPD course equips counsellors and mental health professionals with the skills and knowledge to work confidently with clients experiencing suicide and suicidal ideation. Grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based practice, it covers recognizing risk factors, conducting sensitive assessments, and applying ethical, safeguarding-aligned interventions within UK frameworks. Participants will also learn to support survivors of suicide attempts and bereaved families with cultural and emotional awareness. Combining theory, practical tools, and reflection, this training fosters safe, compassionate, and effective responses to suicide risk across diverse client groups.
